Ołtarz Trójcy Św. Bractwa św. Jerzego
Obraz Trójcy Świętej (lata 20. XV w.)
Olej, tempera, drewno dębowe, wym.: z ramami 170,5 x 161,9 cm.
W awersie została namalowana Trójca Święta przedstawiona w typie Pietas Domini– Bóg Ojciec prezentuje zdjęte z krzyża ciało Jezusa. Pomiędzy ich głowami znajduje się Duch Święty w postaci gołębicy.
Na rewersie obrazu namalowano dwie postaci mężczyzn w zbrojach. Niestety stan zachowania przedstawień jest zły. Nie ma pewności kogo przedstawiają rycerze. Prawdopodobnie są to król Artur oraz Wielki Mistrz Zakonu Krzyżackiego.
Predella (1400-1420)
Na przedniej ścianie znajduje się malowidło przedstawiające Trójcę Świętą w wersji Tronu Łaski – siedzącego na tronie Boga Ojca trzymającego krzyż z Chrystusem oraz podlatującą gołębicę, symbol Ducha Świętego. Po bokach stoją dwaj święci rycerze. Rycerze to św. Jerzy (po lewej stronie) i prawdopodobnie św. Olaf (z prawej).
Do 1945 roku obraz i predella zdobiły kaplicę Bractwa św. Jerzego. W czasie II wojny św. tak jak wiele innych zabytków zostały wywiezione z kościoła Mariackiego. Do 1999 roku były uważane za zaginione. Obraz znajdował się w Gemäldegalerie w Berlinie, natomiast predella w kościele św. Jana w dzielnicy Berlin-Moabit. Dzieła powróciły do kościoła Mariackiego w marcu 2020 roku.
W Muzeum Narodowym w Warszawie przechowywana jest kopia obrazu wykonana około 1435 roku, należała do Cechu Szewców.

The Altar of the Holy Trinity of St. George’s Fraternity
Painting of the Holy Trinity (20s of the 15th c.) oil, tempera, oak wood, dim.: 170.5 x 161.9 cm with frames.
In the obverse the Holy Trinity was painted in the type Pietas Domini – God the Father presents Jesus’ body which was taken down from the cross. Between Jesus’ and God’s heads there is the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove.
On the reverse of the picture there are two painted figures of men in armours. Unfortunately, the paintings are in bad condition. It is uncertain whom the knights represent. They are probably King Arthur and the Great Master of the Teutonic Order.
Predella (1400-1420)
On the front wall there is a painting depicting the Holy Trinity in the version of the Throne of Grace – sitting on the throne of God the Father holding a cross with Christ and a dove flying up, a symbol of the Holy Spirit. On the both sides are two holy knights – St. George (on the left) and probably St. Olaf (on the right).
Until 1945, the painting and predella adorned the chapel of the Brotherhood of St. George. During the Second World War like many other monuments, they were removed from St. Mary’s Church. Until 1999 they were considered missing. It turned out, however, that the painting was in the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin, while the predella was in the church of
St. John in the Berlin-Moabit district. Both returned to St. Mary’s Church in March 2020.
In the National Museum in Warsaw there is a copy of the painting made about 1435, it belonged to the Shoemakers’ Guild.
