Wapień miękki, polichromowany, złocony, wym.: wys. 145 cm.
Jest to rzeźba pełnoplastyczna należąca do typu tzw. Pięknych Piet. Przedstawia Marię siedząca na tronie, podtrzymującą ciało Chrystusa. Postacie są bliskie naturalnej wielkości.
Miejsce powstania Piety nie zostało ustalone. Według jednej z teorii rzeźba może pochodzić z kaplicy zamku krzyżackiego w Gdańsku.Według innej od początku stanowiła element wyposażenia kościoła, kilkakrotnie zmieniając w nim miejsce ekspozycji.

Soft, polychrome, gilded limestone, dim.: 145 cm high.
It is a full-plastic sculpture belonging to the so-called Beautiful Piet type. It depicts Mary sitting on the throne, supporting the body of Christ. The figures are close to life size.
The place where Pieta was created has not been established. According to one theory, the sculpture may have come from the chapel of the Teutonic castle in Gdańsk. According to another, it was a part of the church’s furnishings from the very beginning, changing the place of its exhibition several times.
